Campus Description
Trocaire College, a private, two-year, career-oriented coeducational college with a strong liberal arts core, was established by the Buffalo Regional Community of the Sisters of Mercy in 1958. Trocaire is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Universities and is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.
Enrollment approximates 1,400 full- and part-time students. Trocaire offers Associate degrees in 12 undergraduate major areas of study, Bachelor's degrees in 2 areas of study, and 8 Certificate programs in healthcare, hospitality and technology. The student-faculty ratio is 10:1. 97% of Trocaire students receive some form of financial assistance - scholarships, grants, loans and work-study.
Trocaire College is situated in a quiet, residential area of Buffalo, NY. The campus is readily accessible by the New York State Thruway, I-190 and I-90 and the Greater Buffalo International Airport is only a 20-minute drive to the campus.
